
This was our host at Coon Creek (the place we stayed at.) He went out duck hunting every morning. Coon Creek is a private hunting lodge and has a small community of homes on its 8,000 acres of land. It opened in 1902 and was originally named Koon Kreek Klub (KKK) after a Mr. Koon, but eventually was pressured to change the spelling to be politically correct. Ha ha! Coon Creek is extremely exclusive, there is a major waiting list and the member fee is $50,000. It's crazy!


Jon did some fishing there and was very happy.

This is the only good picture of me the whole trip so I wanted to throw that in there. lol.


On the tour we went to old cemetaries, churches, and houses.
